Stragglers
I don't post as much anymore. That's not a complaint, just an observation. I'll get back up to speed soon. Probably. In the meantime, here are a few straggler pictures of repeat birds I've been sitting on.
Rufous Hummingbird. This little mature female was being chased by a male and banged, not too hard, into our window. She was resting up from her ordeal on the Kangaroo Paw flowers. None the worse for wear, she was soon out and about.
Mature Snowy Egret at the river where I was shooting an Osprey.
Black Phoebe parent and baby. After shooting the Osprey, I watched this mature bird (left) feed bugs to the immature baby on the right in the school parking lot where I'd left my car. Couldn't quite catch them in the act of sharing food.
